Add a parallel sky box to a multiroom box?
-
I have a main sky plus box downstairs and one payed for multiroom box upstairs in my sons roon.I have just bought my daughter a new tv with built in free view, but she wants the sky channels. My son doesn't watch it that often, but he still wants it in his room. The main box downstairs is always on and so if she had to watch the same as the one downstairs it would be no good. So is there a way that I can link the multiroom box to the tv? And if so do I need another sky box? Thanks

Answer:
You can, the same as any other Sky box, by running A/V or RF cable to the new TV, and and a wired or RF remote extender. You can also use a wireless video extender. "Multiroom" is only an account status, nothing to do with the hardware.
