Does anyone know if this remote is universal?

Does anyone know to make my Universal remote work on my tv? ?

So i have this remote and i know how to get around on the remote but i can't make it work for my tv. My tv is a GE that's what it says and there is 3 types of things that has GE on it.There is PVR,DVD and VCR.I tried all the codes for it but it does not work if anyone knows PLEASE HELP!!!!
Answer:

Choose the TV component button on the remote to connect the TV to the remote. There should be GE TV codes listed in the manual that came with the remote. Or, use the auto-search to program the component. Since you've tried all of the codes, you might need to make sure that you were pushing the buttons down long enough. Small thing, but I've made that mistake, too.
