Whats the difference beetween a vhs and a vcr.....?

    Vhs is a tape and vcr is player and recorder... in old days we had few systems on which tapes were made...VHS and beta max.. somehow betamax faded out and only vhs remained.

VHS is a video tape type. VCR replays and records tapes. There are two types of VCRs - Beta and VHS (you don't see Beta around much any more).

vhs is the tape and vcr is the RECORDER... dvr is the RECORDED cd from a dvd..if YOU made the dvr, then you can play if on the tv and record it to your VCR on VHS tape..if it's a pre-RECORDED DVD, then you can't, because it's 'protected'...(and against the law)

whats a dvr? digital video recorder? well you got have a video card in your computer with an rca video out jack or a supervideo connection.
