How can I connect my XBOX 360 to my computer with wireless internet access so i can use xbox live?

I have connected my XBOX 360 to my computer and they both recognize that they are connected. When the XBOX is turned on, a little bubble comes up on the computer saying the cable is connected. So, now it comes time for it to work, and it doesnt. So, I went to my wireless properties and LAN properties and enabled sharing, but that wont allow me to do that. It gives me an IP address error saying that the IP is in use already. How can I fix this?

Answer:
You need to shut your computer off when using it, and shut off all laptops, same thing happend to me.
