How To Madden Updates Without Internet?

Lose internet connection due to adobe updates?

  • Hi, please help anyone please help. My laptop has lost internet connection for 3 days. on saturday morning, i turned on the computer and was prompted to update adobe, i wasn't sure what was it but i know it is from the adobe photoshop. during the updating like about 30% done, i accidentally put the computer into sleep mode. when i wake up the computer, the update stopped and prompt me to continue, and i tried to continue but it says it is not connect to the server. then i lost my internet connection and only had local only access. anyone please help i had tried everything i could. i tried to restart my computer but did not work. i also tried to uninstall adobe photoshop but did not work. i tried to identify and repair the problem but it says my modem or router is not available which it is a false message because i have a xp computer and a psp at home. they work fine wireless only my laptop is not responding. i tried to unplugged my modem but the internet still says local access only. i also called att internet service and they told me to restore the computer but it did not work even after i restored it to 5 days ago. they say it is probably the computer's problem since the modem is working fine and LAN too. i also tried to uncheck the ipv6 thing but did not work. i also disabled the not working adapters... please help!!!! anyone any advice...what might this problem be i am totally lost.. i am desperated to fix my computer.. thank you so much~~!!!

  • Answer:

Probably, Adobe Updater is not the thing that crashed your Internet Connection. Something happened, and may be at the hardware level, it is hard to say since you've provided so little info about the problem. Try this: delete your Wi-Fi connection from the list of Wireless Networks in Windows Vista, then try to reinstall it. If it will not work then get a clean install of the Windows and see what happens. If this doesn't help then you have problems with your Wi-Fi adapter. P.S.: bring your laptop to a place where are other Wi-Fi networks and see if it can connect.
