Mapping a network drive in Linux?

I have two Linux machines in my network. I want to be able to map a network drive on my local machine to a remote machine. I have a share set up on the remote machine using samba, but I am not sure what needs to be done in order to create a network drive to the remote machine.

smbmount You can find a quick introduction to it at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smbmount Samba is designed to implement Windows File and Print Sharing though, you might be better off using NFS: http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/
