Won't shockwave install correctly?

I do I install Adobe Shockwave Player?

• I go to the website and try and install it. But everytime I do that, it tells me that there was a network error, and that I need to connect to the internet. But I am connected. I am on my laptop with a wireless connection, dont know if that makes a difference or not. Please help!!!

  try downloading the file to your hard disk first, then run the program, restart your comp and try to look at a shockwave enabled website, you should also try to keep your Flash player current.
