Problem with losing WiFi connection on Linux?

I run the newest Linux/Ubuntu and whenever it goes in sleep or hibernation mode or when i first start it up, it loses connection / doesn't connect automatically. Any idea's what i should do?

If it makes you feel any better, I have the same problem with mine - Jaunty Jackalope (9.04). I have just become used to disabling wireless and reenabling it to force it to connect. I have also noticed that occasionally some of my usb ports will stop working. Flash drives, mp3 players, and the usb wireless adapter will all stop working and I have to reboot to get them to be active again.
