How to check if my monitor is on?

How to monitor network & to check if some1 is downloading?

  • We are in company with several computers. Sometime in the day, our internet become very very slow! This happens everyday & usually last couple hours. I want to make sure that this is not caused by downloading! Please let me know if there's a program/method (anything that does the job) out there that can monitor the network & enable me to check if some1 is downloading large file which might cause the slow. Thanks in advance for you help.

    If you have in house technical knowledge then you could try a network monitor or protocol analyser to check the packets on your network.
