What's wrong with Nokia N97 Mini's wifi?

Whats wrong with my wifi??

  • I'm running the internet over my wifi network. My laptop keeps connecting and disconnecting every few seconds. Whats the rpoblem, its sitting right next to the router, so its getting a fine signal. Could it have something to do with running two computers off the same internet connection?

    it sounds like it could be the router. also call your service and ask if there has been trouble in the area. they usually will walk you through it and do different things to find the problem. the router may have a loose wire. good luck to ya.

A couple of different problems... There could be intermittent problems with your ISP (Cable or DSL). If you have multiple computers running, you could slow the connection down as you only have so much bandwith to work with, however 2 computers generally do not slow down routers, unless your router speed (the speed at which it transmits to your computer) could be slower than what's required to run 2 computers.

no such problem of running two computers with one connection as such i suppose untill they both have that same i.p address.... as far as ur wifi is concerned check if ur wifi port and router are working alryt....check if there is any problem from the isp's side....i have had the same problem....my isp people called it problem of frequent disconnection....they just had their engineers sent to my home and it was corrected...

no its not that just check out the connection may be its the problem from tha backend of net provider or check out the net cable which u insert in the wifi and finally may be its the problem of ur wifi antina

They could be trying to use the same IP address to connect. Did you configure them yourself? Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Wireless Network Setup Wizard If you already did that then: Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Network Connections Try repairing your Wireless Network Connection Right click on it and hit repair There are multiple things that could be going on, hard to tell unless I was infront of your computer. Get a pro! You run into problems when you dont know what you are doing, there are experts to help you with these things. Thanks for being more specific buddy!
