Is it a good idea to exchange links within your own domain network?

Cross-Domain Trust issues, Exchange Mailbox....?

  • Ok I'm going to give the short story. I have Domain A and Domain B. Domain A has 2003 Domain Controllers and 2003 Exchange servers. Domain B has 2008 Domain Controllers and 2010 Exchange Servers. Heres the issue, for the longest time, users in Domain A have regular user accounts that have access to mailboxes in Domain B. There is a 2-way full trust between both domains. Well now these users are not able to connect to there mailboxes in Domain B. Mail is working internally on both domains, and mail can be sent between the domains. However, the users log into Domain A with their Domain A accounts, open Outlook and try connecting to Domain B mailboxes and are asked for username and password. They do NOT have Domain B accounts and putting in their Domain A password does nothing. With this information does anyone have an idea what could be causing the problem? As far as we know, all other access is working. So they are able to access files and directories between the two domains, just not mailbox access. Domain B was having other Exchange issues for a few days now but this is the only one that still has yet to be solved. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe there is nothing else to solve... Get the tech advisor or the expert to work out the problem for you... You might want to have 'em to inspect your domain and everything in your computer... Good luck!
