How to know if a file has 'access' monitor in linux?

I need Linux help NOW!!?

  • So i have a HP dual monitor, that has Windows 7 Home Premium, on that i also have Ubuntu 11.10 and Backtrack 5. When i loaded Backtrack 5 I had to turn on monitor off because it would only work with one and not extend to the other, but when i tried to reboot back to Windows it would only boot on one monitor. When i ask it to detect another display is wont do it. When i try to connect on VGA it still wont work, it says i can not save the changes and when i try on go into the regedit and navigate (like it says on a tutorial i found) to where it tells me two i am missing a file (HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Mo… the Mobile PC file is not there. So my question is 1.) How can i get rid off all Linux on my HP (all Linux is dual boot)? 2.) How can i get my two screens to work? PLEASE make sure that the there are multiple options on how to fix this because sometimes one option does not work for me and the whole question is a bust, and i know i am sounding picky but make sure that each step is easy and that nothing is left out. I need as much help as possible

  • Answer:

Hey, try deleting the partitions in Windows using EASEUS Partition Manager or the Windows Console. Or if you want, I can do it for you via TeamViewer. :) Email me if interested, [email protected]
