What color code will i use in UTP cable (LAN setting) if I will make 2 pc to connect to each other ?

  • i will transfer all the files from one pc to another by using LAN.But I forgot its color coding in crimping..pc to pc with out a hub!!

  • Answer:

It's called crossover wired. 568A on one end and 568B on the other. Contrary to the link using the dark wires for other data of as a phone line really isn't a great idea.

It actually doesn't matter as long as they are the same on both ends.

ok, here you go if you are looking at the wires from the top 1 end will be from the left lite orange orange lite green blue lite blue green lite brown brown the other end will be from the left lite Green Green lite orange blue lite blue orange lite brown brown Consider the *lite* statement as your stripped wires the orange and green pairs are your transmit and recieve to use them without a hub or switch you have to switch them or *Cross* them over, hence the term a "Cross over Cable* Hope this helps
