How can I connect laptop and printer via wireless router modem?

What you need is a wireless print server. This has a USB port on it which you plug the printer into. While I have not used one before, I am pretty sure that there is some configuration involved with it so that it is shared and secured on your own network. You would then add the printer as a network printer and boom, you're ready to print. You can get these at most major electronics store such as Best Buy. They will typically set you back about $100 USD.
