What is DNS and How to configure it in Wndows NT 4.0?

well. u can easly configure dns in ur server. first u have to install dns service through windows components, add the service where u can obtain this option in network services. and u could configure dns zone file records in dns console. To do so, u can open dns console, and expand it create a domain name and create forward lookup zone and reverse lookup zone accordingly (u know these configuration is actually help to the server to be act as a dns server and could help to do name resolution (ip conversion) on the server. and create dns suffix in ur domain controller if it may install as, through my pc properties. and give on run command as dcpromo. which will promote ur server as domain controller. this command is exe one to run ads service on it. and when u r going to install ads u can customize it according to ur domain configuration. thats it... thanks
