How to share your PC internet connection with your iphone?

How do i share my internet connection to my second pc?

  • i have a cable peer/peer networking, when i do networking its work properly but when i share my internet connection it doesn't respond any thing. i have external modem and which is conected with my lan port i have attached one extra lan card for connecting other pc on network. i have tried giving ip or without ip too but it does not work. i also setup my small/home network setup wizard and done the procidure correctly. my cabel and lan card both are ok i checked . does any one tell me the problem?

    to just connect two computers , use routers .. both should have NIC and thus u can do it.....

Running a Internet share is a very difficult thing todo in that situation, you best bet is to go out and buy a router, If not You'll have to share the connection from one adapter to the other, what version of windows are you running?

The best option is to get one Ethernet hub and connect two PCs using LAN cables and then u must conect your External MOdem to the HUB.Then u will be able to share the internet.Suppose give one pc ip address as 192.168.1.0 and other as 192.168.1.1 and give same DNS address for each PC and u will be able to share the Internet.

make a network bridge in between them open the properties of lan connection. on which internet connection is given. in advance you will find check box saying that allows other computer 2 use internet connection of this computer... give the default Gateway & dns address of the host

You need to give DNS server address the same as that of the operator service which you are using in the first computer.....also in the second computer also.....then only you can get internet in both the computer
