What is Ad Hoc QoS mode?

• I saw this under the advance options in device manager for my wireless card. The options are "WMM enabled" or "WMM disabled". My question is - does having the option "WMM enabled" give you better connection or faster speed? Also what exactly is the Ad Hoc QoS mode?

  AD HOC mode is what you use if you didn't want to connect to a router, but another computer that has AD HOC wifi enabled. You can use this for games if you don't want to connect to each other through a network. It allows you to connect to someone else directly with wifi, and QoS stands for Quality of Service. If you were to enable that setting, it would allow you to connect to someone else that has that without going through a router, and it would give more priority to that AD HOC connection. Unless you have a SPECIFIC need to enable that, then don't. I will probably prevent you from connecting to the internet while its enabled.
