Can you use internet on 360?

I have a laptop and an Xbox 360 the laptop has wifi and i want internet on 360 can i use ethernet to connect?

Firstly connect your xbox 360 via ethernet cable to your laptop. Go into network connections and enable your ethernet adapter connection. You should now have two icons in your notification area, one with limited connectivity (this is because your dhcp server cannot yet assign an ip address to your 360).If you don't then go back into network connections and right click your connection again and tick the box that says "show when this connection has limited connectivity". Then right click your wireless connection and choose properties, then advanced and choose "share this connection", then click settings and tick each box (note after you click each box another dialogue will open and here you need to select all available options. Then save by clicking ok, reboot both machines and presto - you good to go! Happy gaming mate.
