How do I set up the Internet on my Vista?

How Can I set up a connection through my wifi enabled vista laptop so i can get to the internet on my iTouch?

  • I have an iPod Touch and need to get to the internet so that i can jailbreak my ipod but i dont have a wifi router in the house. I found out that you can set up a wireless connection through your laptop so that you can use that connection on a mobile device such as an iPod Touch. I am own a Dell Inspiron 1520 and am running Windows Vista. Is there any way to set up a connection so that i can get to the internet on my iPod Touch?

    I didnt know the ipod touch supported that, but im pretty sure the only way would be adhoc which is used to network between two computers normally that are within 15-20 feet. you can google how to set up an adhoc signal

When i bought my son his iTouch it came with physical connection(Lead) which he uses via his WiFi enabled Laptop - but doesn't the iTouch connect Automatic to the Internet anyway ? Wish he was here right now to help you out as my knowledge is limited. Good luck.
