How to connect or share my laptop with printer?

  • In our company desktop is connected with printer. I am using a laptop. I was tried to share or connect with printer, but i am unable to share. If i go to Control panel--->Devices and printer---> Add printer, It shows Printers list. And i had tried to connect with printer, but it couldn't connect, and it says the reason is CANNOT FIND PRINTER DRIVER. So how can i connect or share my laptop with printer through wireless network? If anyone know, Please explain to me step by step. thank you very much. NOTE: My friend's laptop have been shared with printer through wireless network.

    go to the printer website, down load the driver and install in your pc. thereafter you can add that printer.

Hi copy paste the below link on to the address bar of your browser. http://software.canon-europe.com/ Select your printer name & version etc and download the driver software (usually an ".exe" file) double click the downloaded file & just go on clicking next, next , next, I agree.... remember to disconnect the printer (usb cable) from the computer while installing the downloaded drivers, the screen on your computer will ask to you to connect the cable (only at that time) you should connect the cables. If any issues - send me the picture of your printer along with the printer name & your OS name (windows xp etc) to my mail id - I will send you the direct download link for your drivers.
