How to import addresses?

How can I import addresses from Outlook Express to the Addresses folder of a webmail server? Same address?

  • My ISP has webmail which I am currently forced to use. I need to send all those Christmas greetings, so it's rather urgent. Thanks!

  • Answer:

In Outlook Express bring up your address book and then select File, Export and save it in My Documents (or on the desktop or in whatever folder you want) and save the .WAB file. See if your ISP webmail has a import function that you can then import your address book into your webmail. If should at least allow you to import a comma separated value (CSV) text file. In that case, from the main Outlook Express screen, select File, Export, Address Book and save it as a CSV file that you can then import into your webmail. Check with you ISP on in their support pages on how to import. If they have no method of doing it, you might be stuck copying/pasting...
