How to play online on my Playstation 3?

What is a good internet provider to be able to play playstation 3 online?

• hey, right now i have wireless internet from a local company called wigi wireless. IT SUCKS. its so slow, playing online is almost impossible. it will lag and disconnect randomly. i live out in the country, so that makes it harder. ive heard of hughes net. i went to verizon's site and did there availability for fios in my area and they said its not available in my area yet. so..the only other one that i know if is hughes net. i have direct tv. whats a good internet provider for online gaming? im currently paying 30+ dollars a month of internet that is 260 kbps download and 156kbps upload. <--ridiculous huh. impossible for online gaming. i cant even sign on playstation network

  DO NOT GET HUGHESNET! lag from satellite Internet is usually around 1second, I have Hughes and can't play anything online. i suggest checking for all Internet services available to you if you can't get anything better than what you have that is not sattelite, go with wild blue, it is much cheaper, has less lag, and has no daily limit (Hughes has very limited daily service)
