try using https instead of http

There are many tricks in getting past school blocks; popular ones are using the ssl encrypted half of the site by using https however some sites won't load, another is typing in the ip address to the site, best used when the school has the block set at the dns server however if you can't get the ip on the spot your SOL. there are more complicated ways but they require a more complex level of networking knowledge and or complex tools.
