How do I log in to the modem through my wifi router?
-
I have a home PC connected to a Wifi router through a wireless adapter. The router itself is connected to a modem. My question is, how do I connect to the modem? I know how I can connect to the router...by typing "192.168.2.1" on a browser. I do remember opening command prompt and typing "telnet 192.168.1.1" when the modem is directly connected to the PC. But how do I do it my router is in between? How do I configure the modem when there's a router in between?

Answer:
You just need the IP for the modem. Open Run and type ipconfig /all You are looking for the IP that is assigned to the DNS server.
