How can i get wifi through bluetooth on my phone?

Turning phone into wifi hotspot/router...?

• i have heard of phones such as the iphone or smartphones being able to get a program that broadcasts a wireless.network using its phone connection my phone does.not have wifi it has java programming for apps and bluetooth is there any program or way to make my phone emit a network for say my itouch or laptop seems like a stretch doesnt hurt to ask thanks

  The two words you really wanted in your title were hotspot and modem. Any phone with Bluetooth has the posibility to be used as a Bluetooth modem device. This technology is fairly old - I had a phone in 1995 that could do it through a cable, ran up an extremely expensive phone bill travelling through Europe in 2000 connecting via infrared and would now use Bluetooth (if my phone didn't already have e-mail and enough of a web client to do most things). A second Bluetooth service is internet sharing, this is slightly easier to set up - you run Internet Sharing on the phone and then connect through it on your operating system. No phone numbers, usernames or passwords needed save for the initial Bluetooth pairing. Then there's the hotspot thing. There are applications for phones that make them appear as ad hoc wireless access connections - there may be applications that make them appear as full blown access points. The 3 network (UK) have a dedicated MiFi device that delivers a portable access point. If you have a Nokia Google your model number together with bluetooth, modem and your mobile service provider - you should find instructions to connect your laptpo through your phone. You iPod will probably be harder or impossible to connect out through though.
