How do I use Microsoft Outlook Express?

I got a Netgear Wireless Router and can't use Microsoft Outlook Express?

Outlook only works when i connect directly to the DSL Modem
Answer:

check your signal strength. I notice when i have a weak signal items like mail and graphical web pages do not work. Move closer to the router.
