Problems in accessing hi5.?
-
Hey! Everytime I try to access the hi5 page (http://hi5.com ) I am being redirected to another site (http://ztomy.com/?pid=2POT3NN41&dn=hi5.com ). I can't even access the site through my e-mail (X has sent you a comment... Click here to see it...). Does anyone know what the problem would be? I'd appreciate if you'd answer. Thanks in advance.

Answer:
Seems a javascript hack on the site itself, not sure why it isn't affecting everyone but apparently there is enough impact. I just emailed support to see if they were aware.

first of all, try to give web sites' address correctly in address bar. do not type http://hi5.com, type http://www.hi5.com. secondly, try to install some other web browser like firefox mozilla ver.1 or greater instead of internet explorer.I think it's browser's problem.bye

Don't believe its your browser. Its been up and down all day. I tried going to it in IE for the first time, same problem. Using a proxy server will get you there, but many of the buttons don't seem to work that way. Now this is what you get on www.hi5.com "Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact service provider for more details." Perhaps this is progress? It would be nice if they got on any forum and told us what is going on. The answer would spread rapidly.

Yes, I had the same problem. It`s not the hi5 server, it`s your browser, you`ve been infected with some kind of tracking cookies. You`ll need to download adware from lavasoft , it`s free...here`s the link http://lavasoft.com/single/trialpay.php . run a scan remove all the spyware and you`ll be able to log into hi5 again

It's not a browser issue... I tried both Firefox and IE7 and is the same. And is not the address either... I have tried everything and if you Google it, the problem is reported in lots of countries, but with no solution yet... Some of the answers are saying that is working for those respective users... Mystery...
