What is "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" and why is it running so hard?

Not sure what "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" is, but when i bring up Windows Task Manager, and making it show proesses from all users, is shows it, running HARD, and it's freezing my computer up. Iv tryed to stop it by looking at the Media Player, but not really sure what how to stop it, so can you tell me what that is, and how to kill it. PS: I tryed to add my 360 as a Extension to my Windows Media Center, but i got stop it, could that of done it?

Answer:
That service shares your Media Player libraries with other users. You don't need it. To disable it go to administrative tools> services and find the service and stop it. Then double click on the service to open the properties window and change it's start type to "disabled".
