Broadband bandwidth help?
-
hey, i got pretty fast broadband at home but each month we only get 12gb of bandwidth...if we download more or go over the bandwidth our internet speed drops to dial up...(300kbps downloads to about 5kbps) ....anyway i worked out i can use 400mb a day but i need to know how much mb do some things take up on my bandwidth.....so how much mb is used from: chatting on msn? playing an online game? viewing an internet page/site? watching a 2minute youtube video or streaming any media? thanks in advance!!

Answer:
You will eat up your bandwidth the most with videos and streaming media. Also, when you go on a site all the flashing crappola and music playing will do it to. Chatting on msn won't make hardly a difference. Games usually don't either. Are you on satellite? If you are you need to go to the Usage site and create that shortcut on your desktop so you can monitor your usage daily.
