How to get audio on ubuntu?

How can I get my Vista wireless laptop to get internet on my Ubuntu desktop?

  • I have two pcs; one is Vista, which is a laptop and one Ubuntu desktop pc. I have an internet connection (wireless) on my Vista laptop and my desktop does not. Now I want to use my Ubuntu pc to browse the internet with my Vista laptop. My router is in the other room so it's not possible for me to run a wire all the way to my desktop. My two computers are right next to each other so I am wondering how can I get my Vista wireless laptop to get internet to my Ubuntu desktop. I was thinking maybe through an Ethernet cable?
