How To Serch Location?

How do you stop Apps on your PC from discovering your location using your WiFi?

• I went to Bing maps using Firefox browser and there was an option "center the map on your location" so I clicked on it and Firefox asked for my permission to do this in "a way that totally respects your privacy" so they clamed and it when straight to my house and put a target at my exact location where I was sitting at my computer in the house. In Internet Explorer 9 when I used this option I just saw an ariel shot of the community where I lived but in Firefox it blew right up on my house and put a target on my exact location. It was a Google service that determined my location and I know it was through my WiFi and we know how much Google respects your privacy right?n Ha! Ha! Ha! Not! Well anyway I want to know how I can prevent anything on my computer from using the WiFi to determime my location. I don't want to be the next victom of spontanious human combustion from a microwave broadcasting satellite in orbit just because they know my exact location and don't like my speech on the internet. LOL!!!!!!!!

  Anyone on the internet is recognized by his/her IP address. Not just google but any site can find your location if they have your IP. So, a good and easy way to hide your location is to hide your IP. You can use proxy to do it. here is one of the proxy sites http://www.proxysiteslist.net/ Hope it helps.
