You can use what is called "printer switch" (check with computer store near you) to use printer between 2 computer. But it is costly compare to other solution of networking computers and attached printer to one of them and then sharing it.

assuming that one computer is hooked to the printer ,Right Click the printer icon ( start,printer and faxes ) and enable sharing. Both the computers should have the same be member of the same named work group ( to see Right CLick My computer Click rename the computer and see the name both computer should match). On the computer # 2 start,printer and faxes >add a printer >Network printer >browse for printer and follow the wizard Hope this helps

do u have wireless internet?? if so you can if not then someone else can help. hook the computer up to one of the computers. once you get it working on that computer go to the printer icon in control panel and right click on the computer. click the sharing tab and name the shared printer. Then go to your other computer. click add a printer. Click next until you see local printer or network printer. click network printer attached to another computer. then browse for a printer. there should be a window that states Microsoft windows network double click that. under that should be mshome double click that and u should see a printer icon under that that says \computer\the name of your printer. click that then next. click yes to install the driver and vola. If you print make sure the computer with the printer is on or you will lose what you sent to the printer

They are both right.You can also get a wireless print server,which allows multiple computers to share a printer over a wireless network connection.

1. Your comps should be on the same network. (Workgroup) To check: Right click My Computer, properties, computer name, find workgroup and that is network name. Both computers should have same network and should be connected. 2. Share your printer. (On comp directly connected to printer) Control Panel, Printer and faxes, right click the printer you wish to share, and click share printer 3. If you're using Windows Install the printer driver to one of the computer, and connect the printer to the computer. In the other computer (make sure you have a LAN network between both of the computers), go to Printer/Faxes below the Control Panel in the Windows Explorer. The above poster are all correct. But just in case you happen to have old parallel port type, you can get an A/B switch to select computer / printer. Good Luck.
