Does your Computer have to be on while using wifi max?

  • I was thinking about getting a wifi max to play my psp and ps3 online with from my home computer but Does the computer have to be on while on the internet wirelessly through it while playing psp and/or ps3 online?

    Yes, the PC will need to be turned on. The device works with any Internet-enabled PC. Somehow the PSP and PS3 will need to get a Internet connection and it will have to rely getting its settings through your computer. You may be better off with a wireless router instead of with a WiFi Max.
