Recovering Fedora after Ubuntu install?
-
So I was using fedora and I installed Ubuntu on a seperate partition but the grub was overwritten so now ubuntu is the only one that boots, how do I update it so it recognizes both fedora and ubuntu? I have a fedora live usb that I can enter the full OS with but I cant enter linux rescue with, so alternatives to that?

Answer:
If you were using Fedora 15 or 16 then it must have been using grub 2. Ubuntu I believe still uses grub 1 or legacy. Upgrade grub on your Ubuntu partition and see if it finds Fedora's grub configuration file.
