What Is Fastest Mobile Browser?

What the best browser that is the fastest and most efficient?

  • Ok used to use internet explorer but is so damn slow so decided to use google chrome instead but the bloody shockwave flash plugin keeps crashing and looking online seems alot of people who use google chrome have this issue. Was thinking of trying another browser. So what do you think is the best browser out of internet explorer, google chrome, firefox or this other one found that looks quite good called Opera?? Any one got any knowledge of Opera browser? as claims to be the fastest brower..altho not too keen using something never heard of. Also if i do download another browser do i need to remove my old browser like internet explorer i never use? does it take up space on my hard drive?

  • Answer:

    I'd recommend: 1.  Opera -- http://www.opera.com/ 2.  Comodo Dragon (a secure version of Google Chrome) -- http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/browser.php 3.  Firefox -- http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/ ... in that order.

A browser will take up space on your hard drive, but not too much. I personally prefer Firefox but Opera is also quite good. Firefox is fairly similar to Internet Explorer, however, so it might be an easier transition for you. Both Firefox and Opera are very fast.

Google Chrome is super fast but lacks security. I find so many infections if I use Chrome. IMO, an all-rounded browser would be Firefox. It's pretty fast (not as fast as Chrome) but is very bold and secure.

Firefox 4 <not beta> the best to me. Download more much pluging and enjoy with firefox.

opera is very fast :) just make sure if you have an antivirus app supports opera with the web browser security (in my case zonealarm extreme don't sadly) but other then that i would recommend jumping to the latest opera, takes a bit of getting used to but worth it. you don' have to uninstall your old browsers as opera will import your favorites if you so wish, but may ask to become your default web browser.all i can say is try them all till you find what works best for you ,i personal use firefox 3.6(didn't like 4 has memory leaks) only because of my antivirus but would be using opera all the time otherwise :)

Opera, hands down - so many cool features that other browsers imitate and rarely pull off. Also, I was tabbed browsing back when IE6 still ruled the roost and M$ had forgotten about the Internet.

I too have had flash crashing all the time with Chrome. So I went back to Opera again. I have Firefox installed too just in case something doesn't load properly in Opera. But Opera over the years has been very stable and reliable. It has only crashed on me twice and that was with a Alpha release with about 200 tabs open. They fixed it soon after reporting and it has never happened since. It isn't as fast as Chrome but then again its not that much slower. As for comparing it to Firefox well I've had heaps of problems with Firefox crashing and memory leaks (using more memory then it should). So I would go with Opera. It's really easy to use once you get the hang of it and they have great support through their blog, My Opera, Twitter and Facebook.
