Comcast internet & internet TV don't get along?

Comcast internet problem HELP!?

ordered a comcast internet self install kit which has just came ups today I try to get it to work by following the directions it dont work the power light and link lights come on while the ds light blinks all other lights stay off. I called and they cant come out and look at t for a week I just got it could someone please help me now. I only have comcast internet by the way I dont have a home phone and I have direct tv television Internet is the only comcast service I have please help me with this

you are paying for internet. Why didnt the person fix it when they were there? make them fix it or get your money back and switch to DSL or mobile internet
