Why is my computer's downloading speed slow?

  • Recently and suddenly, I've been experiencing slow browsing and downloading speed on my computer. I don't know the solution to this problem and why it has happened... my internet connection speed is 54.0 Mbps, but if I'm trying to watch any videos on the internet it's so slow!!!! anybody have a solution?

    YOU DONT HAVE A 54MB CONNECTION. go to http://speedtest.net/ and find out your real speeds. you probably have 0,5mb/0,25mb.

I highly doubt your Internet connection speed is 54 Mbps. Your network connection may be that speed, but that only runs between your computer and your wireless router. Try unplugging your router and your internet modem for a little bit and then plug them back in. Otherwise, look at how many other people are using the connection or take it up with your ISP.
