There are free host-to-IP conversion tools that you can use to quickly locate this information. Since most blocks are domain-based, this is a quick and easy way around a blocked website. 2. Access an anonymizer. An anonymizer is a third-party site that processes your request to link to the banned website. Some services charge a small fee, but there are still some free services available. 3. Use a public proxy server. A simple search can locate a public proxy server you may use. You many want to find one that provides some degree of anonymity. 4. Set up your own proxy server. This provides anonymity for you as well as allows you to access those blocked websites. The downside of this process is that it takes some technical know-how to set it up properly. Be sure to not allow it as a public proxy server. 5. Check out a translation site. Many of them translate websites as well as blocks of text. Jut put in the banned URL and ask for it to be translated into your preferred language. In this case the translation website is acting as a proxy server for you. 6. Email web pages to yourself at work. There are free services on the web that send you the web pages you request. However, this method doesn't work well for a large number of pages. 7. Forward your blocked emails to an account you can access at work. Use a proxy. Google used to work as a proxy, you could simply try to use "Google Translate" and set the language from something that is unlikely to be found on the page you want to surf... say, set if for translating Korean to English and visit an English page... The translation will not work, but Google will function as a proxy. A better way is to install a Firefox addon called "Proxy Switcher" or "Foxy Proxy" and then you can choose a proxy and switch them at will. There are also a ton of http proxies like the ones the other answers mentioned... frequently, http proxies are full of popups and some can even install malware on your PC. In any event, learn about proxies, that is your answer.
