Why doesn't my computer alert me of new e-mail?

My desktop computer doesnt remember email addresses as im tryping them to sign in to sites but my laptop does?

  • On my laptop when i start typing in my email it has a lil scroll down that comes up...how can i get that on my desktop?

  • Answer:

You can do it from the "tools" menu on this window. Click "tools" , then Click "internet options" then Click "content tab" Find the auto fill, and check the box (or click the settings button, and check boxes in there) I think the one you are asking about in particular is "forms" but it could be web addresses. I keep all of mine checked EXCEPT for the passwords. Autofill is awesome..lol OR go into "start", then "control panel" Find "internet options", and click Go to the "content" tab Then you will see auto fill, make sure that box IS checked, and that will have you all set. (or click the settings button, and check boxes) That will have you all set. Have a good evening.
