How to put a logo on plastic surface?

Is it okay to put a wireless router over a metal surface?

  • I read that you cannot put a wireless router over a metal surface, I have a metal dvd rack and I'm putting my wireless router over that. My question: is it okay to put a piece a cardboard/wood over the metal dvd rack and put my wireless router over that? or do I really have to replace the whole rack with another material wood or plastic?

  • Answer:

Not a problem. = Put on top shelf for best coverage.

It will be okay as long as it sits on top of the metal. Don't put it IN the rack if there will be metal surrounding it.

Try it and see what happens. You aren't going to see some electrical light show or anything dramatic. If it works there, then great. If not then obviously move it to another spot. (edit) Just remembered, mine sits on top of a metal filing cabinet. Been there for a year and puts out great signal so there ya go. No worries.
