This is not the right place to be asking a question like this, because without permission this is illegal, in both your country and mine. Obvious answer: Ask your neighbour. Non obvious answer? Do a search engine check on some keywords like 'brute force wep' or 'brute force WPA' - you will find at least one forum which will give you tips on how to do what you want. My advice though? Don't.

You have to ask your neighbour for the WPA/WEP code. I assume you have the requisite wireless equipment and your neighbour's permission to access their internet?

Offer to pay for his Internet service and I am sure he will give it to you.

ask your neighbor is the first choice. there are articles on the internet, you can google it. try looking for airsnort.

You ask your neighbor for it. There's no other way. However, the reason your neighbor set up WPA is most likely to keep leeches out of his system. If that's the case, your free ride is over; get your own broadband connection. Or go to the library... Don't waste your time trying to crack WPA. You won't. Not even with AirSnort. WEP is crackable if you know what you're doing since it does send the encrypted hash over the air. WPA uses pki; no hash goes out on the network so there's nothing to hack as far as the WPA passphrase is concerned, rendering it impossible to crack.

Are you sure it's WPA? If it is, trying to brute force hack it simply isn't worthwhile, unless you've got a specialized rig it'll take about 3 months. Mac address filtering & unencrypted passwords have reasonable solutions (though you'd be on your own for the moral and legal stuff, getting past a password is definately intent). WEP can be handled in a reasonable amount of time if you're really interested in doing it. WPA's much more recent encryption. It's certainly not unbeatable, but the only company that I've talked to recently which was confident that it was crackable was a data recovery firm with very expensive toys. So, you're back to social engineering. If you offer them a box of girl scout cookies, odds are pretty good they'll let you share. Many people will be willing to share their internet for practically nothing, because as far as they're concerned, it doesn't cost them anything. If you don't take up much bandwith, or seem like much of a security risk, they're not likely to change the password, even after the cookies have run out. The average person doesn't want to bother pulling the instructions for the router out.

Ask your neighbor. It's his network, and he probably set up WPA authentication to keep out unauthorized users. You may be able to come to an agreement where you split the ISP costs and share the network access. I did that with my neighbor for a while.
