How do i set up outlook express for a yahoo mail account.I´m abble to send (smtp) but not send POP3, why?

If you have pay account server name should use... smtp = smtp.mail.yahoo.com pop3 = pop.mail.yahoo.com free account but using ypops smtp = 127.0.0.1 pop3 = 127.0.0.1

think you have to pay to download your mail from yahoo. pop3 is for downloading mail. smtp is to send mail. if you have a isp you might have to put your pop3 server in the pop3 box. ie smtp = smtp.yahoo.com pop3 = pop3.ntlworld.com t

Yahoo does not give free POP3 access to it's free email users. You can download a program called Yahoo! POPS that will let you set up your Outlook for POP3 access. The only downside is that the program must be running at all times.
