How to access a stream of a BLOB?

How can I stream movies to laptops in a Car using VLC and an access point?

• I would like to stream video in my car to 2 laptops and view the movie on my laptop using VLC. Since I am in my car I am not connected to the internet, but can I connect the 2 laptops to the wireless access point and connect the wireless wired to my laptop to stream the video. What is the best way to do this? One laptop has windows 7 and the other 2 vista. Can I connect the access point to my laptop and have the other two connect to it (which usually yields limited connectivity) to stream the video from my laptop to the others? If this is possible could you please help me by writing a set of directions to do this? I have searched around on the VLC website and google and found nothing prevalent, so it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  I don't know, but if your phone has unlimited access, then maybe you can use it to tether to the internet. Better yet, copy the movies you want to your devices before you leave or grab a movie on DVD. If you need the same movie playing on two screens for the kids, you can always buy splitter cables to send the same video to two screens.
