If I download yahoo messenger, will I be sending invitation by default, to all my contacts in my address book?

I fear if I were to download this program it might send out a similar invitation to all my contacts listed in my yahoo address book by default.   No, When Installing yahoo massenger, they ask if u wanna send invitations to your contacts in your address book. but you can choose not to. And also you can send invitations only to selected set of people, avoiding others. But everyone will see that you are using IM when you send e-mails to them. But that wont add them to your massenger list, unless you accept them. well using gmail ID, No. but you can add them in your invitations list in yahoo massenger setup. as 'freind'@gmail.com
