Beam cable internet connection how to increase download speed ???

  • im beam cable user and the download speed is deadly slow 6-11kbps but there are some tricks (i searched in google ) that promise to increase speed but its not happening......... the trick is while the download starts log off the 24 online client then the speed will increase to 200-400 kbps but its not happening can anyone tell me some other tricks or provide more information on the same trick to increase my download speed

Why, if getting faster internet were so easy, we might as well all get cheaper dial up, then use these magic tricks to make it as fast as broadband. But too bad, it doesn't exist. Your speed suggests something is seriously wrong with your connection - assuming of course that you should actually be getting something faster. For example, many ISPs will slow download speed to 64 Kilobit/s (about 8 Kilobyte/s) after a certain download cap is reached. If you're sure that's not the case, contact your ISP and have them sort it out for you.
