Find this it yourself if you want to then only you can hit the top (In any field). Go around work place checking requirement in your area and not over Internet as reality are different for each country and also cities. Gist from my side Technically speaking Degree is must (MCA) and MCSE Working hour: minimum 8 hours extra always there (Depends on job profile) Appreciation is nearly missing for the work. Getting increments is difficult as compared to programming. If club networking and programming skils then it is pay time. Well do find in local market that what counts.
