What is a Proxy Server?

What is the strongest proxy server? What proxy server is almost NEVER blocked?

  • My school computers have almost ever proxy server blocked. I tried all the new proxies but none of them work. I need a reliable proxy that is almost never blocked. Ninjacloak and Polypuzzle were my favorites and those are blocked too.. and the proxy CANNOT have the word proxy in it or the complete proxy will be blocked. Can someone PLEASE help me and my computer class? :'(

Can't really help you with the name of a proxy... But I can tell you this much...any proxy that you get will be blocked at some point, whether or not the word "proxy" is in the domain or not. The blocking software out there uses a pretty advanced network of algorithms to determine how to block a site. Also, even though a site might not be blocked, does not mean that the software does not see it. So, it might see you on myspace, and it might have a log of certain characteristics of myspace, and then it notices that the domain you are using does not match the page in the database...so it ends up blocking that domain pretty much instantly. If you want to browse blocked sites, you are destined to spend a good deal of time searching for proxies as well. Just the nature of the game..

Elite proxies are usually private but they also charge money most of the time. Public proxy servers are no good

If your school is blocking proxies, ALL proxies eventually get blocked - not by the name but by the content. Most schools are now converting to deep packet inspection, which blocks content from the sites they want blocked. So if they block, let's say, MySpace, anything from MySpace, whether you go there directly or through a proxy, gets blocked. There's nothing you can do about it (other than breaking into their servers, which will transfer you to your state department of corrections schools [behind bars]) so get used to using the school's computers for school work, and save your playing for when you get home. The next step (and some schools have already taken it) is live monitoring (a teacher watches every screen) and detention when your class uses computers if you're caught. (IOW, you spend "computer" class in detention and automatically fail the class. Every year. Which means you don't get a diploma. You don't run the school, so start getting used to doing what you're told.

Currently i use https://graphicsisfun.com also try http://graphicsisfun.com:1234/ from pagemod.com proxies. They have both CGI and PHP proxies in them. Very Reputable,SSL enabled, does provide new domains by just sending a mail to [email protected] I have used many proxy sites over the years be it PHP CGI glype watever, Nowadays none seem to bypass the ever strong filters{ websense, K9 , bess}, some things one should observe when looking for a proxy site: -Shouldn't be a .info { filters by default block them coz most are proxy sites} -Shouldnt contain the words proxy or others like myspace, orkut, bebo in it. { they keyword filter those} -On the safe side should be a SSL encrypted ones {https sites filter find them difficult to scan} -Should be a reputable provider and provide fresh domains update {So that proxy owners dont steal our information, face the fact domains will get blocked eventually, so its necessary to provide new ones.} -I would recommend CGI proxy , even if they are time consuming they give the desired results. Happy Browsing , Hope I was of some help

You really should be careful using a proxy at school. Is it worth risking getting into trouble? 1. School computer admin take security seriously, they have to, it's a main part of their job. 2. Proxies posted here normally contain spyware/malware and viruses, they also track what you type, so they can get access to your mail accounts etc to send spam from them. Do you think people set these proxies sites up for free? They are getting something out of you using them and it's 99% criminal. 3. Because of the danger from using a proxy, computer admin block them well, although it's always a cat and mouse game. So it's unlikely you will even get through on one for long anyway. 4. If you do use one and the computer system gets infected with a virus, you will be in a lot of trouble, losing computer rights and possible suspension. So please consider this a friendly warning. Is it really worth it? Can't you just wait to use myspace etc at home or in a public library?

There is nothing that will do what you want. The school's system will ultimately detect and block. The system is likely to record your attempts at circumvention as well and ultimately you may find your Internet access revoked. The school administration is doing its job. Your job is to get an education, not play on the Internet. I suggest you concentrate on your job.

Any proxy you can find and use can and will get blocked. Like it or not you'll just have to accept it and use school computers for school work and leave your personal e-mail, myspace, IM'ing and online games at home.

Go to http://www.dailyproxies.net. They usually post new proxy servers every day & they will text new proxies to your cell too.
