How do you set up a network in Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2?
-
I bought a server that had Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 installed. I am trying to set up a simple network so that my employees can share QuickBooks. I can't find where to start networking this at. I have everything together as far as the router and cables and everything. I just need someone to tell me how to network it. Thanks.

Answer:
FOLLOW THE WIZARDS. SETUP SBS THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE SETUP. If you don't, you WILL have problems. Frankly, if you don't know what you are doing, WHY are YOU doing it? HIRE an SBS (MUST be SBS Certified or AWARE) consultant. Get it done right the FIRST time and you won't have problems. Muddle through it on your own, and you'll spend a LOT more in the long run getting it fixed.
