How do I network a mac and a pc so they can share a printer and a external hard drive using usb connections?

Answer:
For your printer, you need a "print server" which your printer will plug directly in to. You may wish to use a router with your print server, for ease of use. As far as the USB goes, Im not sure if that is possible, I know you can get USB hubs, but I doubt there is a way to share a USB device with a MAC and a PC, but I could be wrong about that.

share a USB Peripheral (printer, hard disk, etc) is easy, just use a KVM switch with USB opption, so you can switch from PC to MAC or MAC to PC as needed.
