Answer:
Click on Start>Run> Type CMD In the command prompt type: ipconfig. It will be what is listed for the gateway. Probably one of the following: 192.168.1.1 192.168.0.1

Go to Start > Run and type in 'cmd'. This will open the command prompt window. In the window that opens, type in 'ipconfig' and it'll show the IP address. The one that says Default Gateway is your router's address. That's the local IP address, which almost all the time is 192.168.1.1 for all routers. If you meant your internet IP address, I don't know how to find it for your router, but you can go to http://www.whatismyip.com/ to see your computer's internet IP address.

If you want to know your IP address, go to www.danasoft.com. It's a safe website(confirmed by mcaffee). There should be a sign held up by a small character towards the top of the screen that can tell you your IP address, your ISP, your computer type, or your browser.

Look under your router, it'll have the ip address and default password for access. Linksys routers, for example, use 192.168.1.1 for their internal IP address. D-Link and Netgear routers typically use 192.168.0.1. Some US Robotics routers use 192.168.123.254, and some SMC routers use 192.168.2.1. No matter the brand of router, its default internal IP address should be provided in documentation. You can also find out by going to the start menu and pressing run. Type in cmd and a command window will pop up. Type in ipconfig. Your router's ip adress is the one under Default Gateway. If you need your computer's ip adress, it by default is assigned a different ip adress by our router, so you have to go into the router settings (by using the routers ip address in a browser and using the default password. Go to this site for password information: http://www.phenoelit.de/dpl/dpl.html

If you want it's private address go to start/run and type cmd and enter. Then type ipconfig and enter. The bottom number will be the default gateway (router) address. For it's public address go to http://www.whatismyip.com
